emap was founded in 1887 by Sir Richard Winfrey, as a collection of newspaper and magazine titles in the Midlands. A distinguished history, the next thirty years would see the brand encompass media brands from across the UK, and the name ‘emap’ adopted in 1947.
Today, emap has evolved in to one of the UK’s leading niche media owners with brands in all different types of industries. As time has gone by, the brands within emap have adapted and started creating video content, podcasts, seminars and events, meaning their audiences have just grown stronger and stronger.
