Event Awards Winners Revealed

We launched the inaugural emap Event Awards to recognise and reward the exceptional events and outstanding contributions our events teams have made in the past year.

And now, our esteemed judging panel made up of both internal and external event experts have made their decisions…It’s time to shine the spotlight on our winners!

Innovation & Creativity Award

WINNER – TechFest 2023 Event Team, CONE Division

Judges’ Comments
The judges said that the TechFest team showed daringness to try a completely new format of an existing event, from start to finish, which clearly demonstrated that they achieved a challenging task of meeting many needs. Despite complexities, judges said the team delivered a significant uplift in results, demonstrating the most amount of growth from the previous year. The 94% revenue increase is highly impressive. The willingness of the team to take onboard comments from previous years to overhaul the delivery of the event should be commended. The judges said this entry represented exceptional creativity, innovation, and fully addressed each of the criteria points. Well done!

Customer Service Award

WINNER – UK Jewellery Festival 2024, FABS Division

Judges’ Comments
The judges were thoroughly impressed by the delivery of such a significant event in just five months, which must have taken an enormous team effort. The organisers listened to feedback from the event’s audience and adjusted the event dates to serve them; a real commitment to customer service despite the impact on those involved in organising the event. A great NPS score (+73) and rebook statistics (50%) was impressive. Judges praised effective cross-departmental collaboration, which met diverse exhibitor requirements and demonstrated an ability to manage complex logistics and maintain high standards under tight timelines. Congratulations!
