Last year we organised 112 events in 44 different sectors, an incredible effort by our teams who work hard to provide the best possible experience for our attendees. It’s not just us who think these events were great! In 2024 so far we have been shortlisted a whopping 18 times across the Professional Publishers’ Association Awards and the Conference & Events Awards programmes.

The PPA Awards shine a light on all corners of the media industry, from world class writers to fantastic marketing and sales efforts. On 26 June, our team headed over to City Central at the HAC in London for the glittering awards night, where we were absolutely delighted to be awarded:

–  Team of the Year: CONE Division’s Delegate Sales Team

–  Brand of the Year: Highly Commended for New Civil Engineer

The Conference & Events Awards is a bit meta! It’s an awards programme that recognises the organisers of conferences, exhibitions, and awards ceremonies. An Awards, for Awards, if you will! They are the pinnacle of recognition for the events industry. On 05 July our nominated teams once again headed to the HAC in London and collected four awards:

–  Best Longstanding Awards Event – Silver Award: AV Awards

–  Best Conference / Event Series (up to 2,000 attendees) – Gold Award: Inspiring Women in Construction & Engineering Conference and Awards

–  Best Conference / Events Team (over 100 employees) – Silver Award: CONE Division Event Operations Team

–  Event of the Year (up to 1,150 attendees) – Silver Award: TechFest 2024

Huge congratulations to everyone that worked on all these brands and events, it’s great to see the growth of the events as well as receive the recognition that they so rightfully deserve. Here’s to all your hard work and lets see what we can take home next year!
